With the improvement of precision requirements for difficult to machine materials, especially for aerospace parts, one-dimensional ultrasonic machining can not meet the needs of production obviously, and two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration machining arises at the historic moment.
Ultrasonic machining is a kind of machining method in which the high frequency vibration of the tool end surface drives the abrasive particles in the abrasive suspension to impact the workpiece material to remove the workpiece material and form the workpiece. In recent years, ultrasonic assisted machining (UAM) refers to the application of high-frequency (small amplitude - tens of microns) vibration to the spindle or workpiece in conventional machining, so as to reduce the cutting force and improve the cutting performance of materials.
At present, with the continuous improvement of the modernization level of manufacturing industry and the continuous development of machine tools in the direction of numerical control, the vast majority of production and processing equipment in manufacturing industry and enterprises are still traditional machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling machines, boring machines, etc., whose cutting tools move in a straight line relative to the workpiece, making its processing accuracy far from meeting the demand, directly affecting the survival and development of enterprises. The ultrasonic machining technology is applied to the CNC machine tool, which makes the cutter move irregularly relative to the workpiece and further improves the accuracy of the workpiece.
Working frequency | 28khz |
Power | 500w |
Product mode | BT/ ISO/ HSK/ CAT series drilling machine handle |
Amplitude | 10um or more(adjustable) |
Speed | 20000 r/min |
Matching tool | Carbide drilling head Φ2-Φ10mm |
Ultrasonic machining is mainly used for drilling (including round hole, special-shaped hole and bending hole), cutting, slotting, nesting, carving, deburring of batch small parts, polishing of mold surface and dressing of grinding wheel, etc. of various hard and brittle materials, such as glass, quartz, ceramics, silicon, germanium, ferrite, gem and jade.
The aperture range of ultrasonic drilling is 0.1 ~ 90 mm, the machining depth can reach more than 100 mm, and the hole accuracy can reach 0.02 ~ 0.05 mm. The surface roughness can reach 1.25-0.63 μ m for glass and 0.63-0.32 μ m for cemented carbide.
