The main mechanism of ultrasonic cleaner is ultrasonic cavitation. The strength of ultrasonic cavitation is related to the acoustic parameters, the physical and chemical properties of the cleaning fluid and the environmental conditions. Therefore, to obtain a good cleaning effect, it is necessary to select the appropriate acoustic parameters and cleaning fluid. Negative pressure will only appear in the ultrasonic cleaner cleaning liquid when the amplitude of the alternating sound pressure exceeds the static pressure of the liquid. The negative pressure must exceed the strength of the liquid to produce cavitation. The lowest sound intensity or sound pressure amplitude at which cavitation occurs in a liquid is called the cavitation threshold. Various liquids have different cavitation thresholds, and the sound intensity in the ultrasonic cleaning tank must be higher than the cavitation threshold to produce ultrasonic cavitation.


How to detect the cavitation strength of ultrasonic cleaning machine ?

The ultrasonic power measuring instrument uses the positive piezoelectric characteristic of piezoelectric ceramics, that is the piezoelectric effect. When a force is applied, it converts that force into an electrical signal. Under the same conditions, the more force Stronger, the higher the voltage. If the magnitude of the force changes in a certain period, the piezoelectric ceramics will output an AC voltage signal with the same frequency. Due to cavitation and other disturbances, the actual voltage waveform is a superposition of a major wave and many secondary waves.
